HK PolyU International Summer School 2022 offers students from around the world a wonderful summer exchange experience with credit bearing subjects and a variety of enrichment activities.
Main Session
Choosing 1 or 2 courses from 9 morning courses and 9 afternoon courses during 18 July and 16 August. Options ranging from Chinese Language, Culture and Society; Design, Innovation and Technology; to Business, Entrepreneurship and Global Leadership. Click to view subjects on offer. Please contact TAO or your department/faculty of SUSTech before you apply to this programme, to make sure credits earned from PolyU can be transferred back to SUSTech if needed.
Mode of Delivery
The International Summer School 2022 will be delivered in face-to-face (f2f) mode. Student are required to fly to HK physically for the study. Enrichment activities and Buddy Programme are available as essential parts of the f2f programme offering.
Important Notice under COVID-19
--Students MUST travel to Hong Kong WITH the study visa couriered from our office and students MUST activate the visa upon arrival.
--The Hong Kong Government will review the border control measures for persons arriving at Hong Kong from time to time. Please refer to the Hong Kong Government website for the points to note for quarantine for inbound travellers.
--PolyU accommodation will be available to student after the completion of compulsory quarantine requirements specified by the HK Government. Student need to budget for the expenses during the entire period.
--Student should arrange to arrive HK in advance to complete the quarantine requirements so as to fully complete the International Summer School classes and programmes.
--To ensure a safe campus for the PolyU community with the returning to the pre-pandemic norm of conducting learning and teaching activities f2f as mentioned, students are required to either get fully vaccinated or undergo weekly testing in order to enter PolyU campus.
